Whiskey Dreams

Head is heavy against

Sear's finest blend

Mind sluggish

Foot releasing the last bit

Of body energy

I begin my whiskey dreams

Where every night

is a movie of the week

On an endless car chase

Where brakes never work

A spy thriller

Of global proportions

Strange people

Become my friends

And nothing goes as it should.

Where I do most of my living.
